Barnaby is the main Antagonist of Billie Bust Up!

Biography

Barnaby is the shadowy ghost of a once living owl. A true party animal, Barnaby now enjoys causing mischief and hosting swinging wakes for ghostly guests in his Mansion. He was once a magic researcher and scientist, but was involved in a magical experiment that changed him forever, presumably killing him in the process.

Barnaby holds the Reality Gem, one of the six Gems which can control many different things. He uses the Gem of Reality to manipulate reality. An example is his chase scene where he creates a cartoonish reality around Billie with guillotines, giant pots and cakes, pools of lava and much more.

Plot

He first appears when Billie and Oscar attempt to reach out to grab the Gem of Reality, until Barnaby pops out and objects that she shouldn't steal his stuff and that she is early for his party. Billie yells at him saying that she isn't here for the party, and is only here for the gem. Barnaby closely studies Billie's appearance before exclaiming that Billie is alive, unlike himself. He picks her up and starts lecturing her about the fact that he might as well kill her so she can join his party, and mentions Oscar, calling him her "plus one". Billie reminds him that she is not here for the party.

Barnaby drops Billie onto the ground. She realises that Barnaby has disappeared until he suddenly appears from beside her, scaring the latter. Barnaby then tells her a list of options of ways to be killed, like being stabbed, strangled, crushed and poisoned. Billie doesn't know what the owl is talking about, then he.. proceeds to body shame Billie for being "mortal".

Barnaby tells Billie to make her choice, and Billie instead says "none of the above". Barnaby calls it a great choice, before trying to grab her. He starts chasing her, which is where the chase begins.

Appearance

Barnaby is a prodigious, tall and slender anthropomorphic avian apparition with very dark, almost pitch black plumage and a purple glowing outline around his whole body. His eyes have tangerine sclera with golden swirls on them and the interior of his mouth is yellow while his tongue is orange. He has large wings that are the size of his body and his feet are thick with three pointed talons and a few fluffy feathers on them as well as having a lengthy tail with a wide ending.

As for his attire, Barnaby sports a lilac bowtie and a white high collared dress shirt underneath a light pink waistcoat with two small chains attached to an apricot gemstone in a shape of an oval which is the Gem of Reality on the center.

Personality

Barnaby is eccentric and nonsensical, and a lover of party games. He also finds the thrill of the hunt gratifying. Challenge him and it's sure to be a hoot! He is very silly.

Alright, you've twisted my wing. You've come all this way after all, it'd be rude of me to turn you away! Wouldn't it? HOOHOO! You even brought your plus one!

Oh, your enthusiasm inspires me!

There's just one small token fee to get into my party, however.

The question remains... Would you like to be... Stabbed? Strangled? Crushed-OOH! How about poisoned?! *Giggles* That's always a good one...

Well... You don't expect to join us like that, do you? With that pesky mortal body clinging to you like a leech?! No, no, no, no, no! That just won't do.

So, make your choice. I'll do the deed... (Free of charge!) And then the FUN can begin!

• In La Grande Finition, he appears as a cameo as a silhouette within the crowd, alongside Ash and Arthur.
• Barnaby's favorite food is eye scream.

• He can use both his wings as well as his feet as hands. Both of his feet can act as hands, even when they appear off camera due to his shapeshifting nature.
